The Lychway Chapel

The Lychway Chapel is a non-denominational chapel that seats at least 100 people. It provides a peaceful venue for services, which can be conducted by invited officiants or by representatives of The Lychway Funeral Home.

Adjoining the chapel is our catering lounge, where people can gather after a service to share refreshments and recall memories of their loved one. The catering lounge is joined to the chapel by an internal hallway. The Lychway Funeral Directors can arrange all catering requirements, either at the funeral home or at outside venues.

Matipo Chapel

For the larger funeral the Matipo Chapel seats 300 people comfortably and there is also standing room for additional guests.

This modern chapel features an impressive solid rimu ceiling. It has air conditioning, the latest sound technology and power point presentation facilities.

There is ample on and off street parking.
